Lipstick Playblast

It probably makes no sense what actually happens at the moment but itl make sense trust mee.

Red Bull made up products...

Quick update on more Red Bull products, this time something more on track than floating orange pieces....Red Bull lipstick, to make those kisses just a bit more energetic!

werid bath animation thing..hard to explain...

These are a few stills from a piece where the product is Red Bull bath mixture which is meant to wake you up but just turns the character crazy. It'll make more sense once ive done some more work on it yo.

Flying Orange Animacion basically done naoo

After spending the whole day finishing off this short movie, im pretty happy with the outcome. From these pictures its hard to tell whats actually happening but am trying to figure out how i can put up a playblast. I still need to work on the camera as its can be slightly jumpy but ive got plenty of time to fix it up.

Finished Riggings

After a few tutorials and a pinch of Dave's vast expertise ive finally finished rigging my main character. May not look like much but for me this is a rather special occasion as rigging was my scariest point to look forward to! Although saying this i havent managed to finish off painting weights, thats still a little beyond my reach! Will hafta wait til tomoro for one of the experts help!

Prototype Character Introductions Yo

Keeping in with my more simplistic modelling style ive got one basic character which features in all the animations. Hes based on the flat style toilet door man.

As you cann see its very basic which will make it easy to animate. At this point im not sure if its better with a darker or lighter outline.

In the story he drinks Red Bull to get his energy and when he does he turns into this:

Theres also a short part with an orange and a palm tree which when they get Red Bull on them they become alive and do some fun stuff. heres early images of them:

New Project!!

Back to doing it solo, ive chosen to go down the Advertising route and have selected Red Bull as my company. For the project i think im just going to make it as crazy and caffeine based as possible. Lots of moving and disorientation. Im going to heavely base it on animating as for past projects ive focused more on modelling. This is a pleasent change for me as i was really tiring of texturing etc as its just something i have never really been amazing at, whereas i feel confident in my animating skills. The models im going to use will just be basic and textures will be simple but im going to make up for that by animating well and editing interestingly.
